BRSP & VBA demanded CBI probe into Arvind Bansod’s suspicious death and financial assistance to the family

Pimpaldhara (Narkhed taluka) , Maharashtra , June 13th :A highly educated Bahujan social activist Arvind Bansod (32) , Nagpur (resident of Pimpaldhara, Taluka: Narkhed) , suspicious death has occurred on May 27th.

BRSP , VBA and many Bahujan organization demanding CBI probe into Arvind Bansod’s suspicious death case.

BRSP submitted Statement of the above demand to District Collector, Nagpur.BRSP State General Secretary Ramesh Patil, City President Sharad Vanjari led , City General Secretary Ashok Dhane, Vice President Ashirwad Kapase, Secretary Sunil Dangre and other office bearers were present during submission of demand.

Meanwhile on 9th June , Prakash Ambedkar President of VBA said that Arvind Bansod has been killed and police deliberately spread it as a suicide case. Therefore, the case should be transfer to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

“On May 27, Arvind Bansod was murder at Thadipavani, Nagpur.Instead of murder case police filed a case of suicide under political pressure , because accused Mithilesh Umarkar has a connection with the Home Minister.Bansod’s relatives have alleged that the case is being suppressed. Gajanan Raut, a friend of late Arvind Bansod, was present at the spot at the time of the incident,” Prakash Ambedkar President of VBA said.

“Raut informed the police that the accused had beaten Bansod in front of him and then accused given him pesticides. After realizing that the case was out of hand, the accused took Bansod to the hospital in his own car without informing anyone, at that time Bansod was already died. However, the police are not ready to take legal action in this regard. Therefore, the case should be handed over to CBI,” Prakash Ambedkar said on FB.(Translated from Marathi)

Rahul Pradhan Bahujan Activist through FB given message to his colleagues ,”We must speak up for the injustice that is happening to us. The battle must be fought to get justice. Your demand should be taken seriously. You should not let your subject be diverted. We need to target the government instead of targeting specific communities on the issue of caste violence in Arvind’s, Viraj’s and Maharashtra’s other atrocities cases.”
